Redmond Regional Medical Center Celebrates 1735 Years of Service
Redmond Regional Medical Center held the 37th Annual Service Awards Gala on Thursday, May 14th at the Coosa Valley Country Club. The ceremony honored employees celebrating significant anniversaries of years worked at the hospital and with HCA. Anniversaries being recognized began with 5 years of service and increased in increments of 5 years. This year, awards of up to 40 years of service were given to approximately 170 associates. Together, associates receiving awards had worked a total of 1735 years at Redmond.
The awards were presented by Brenda Waltz, CEO of Redmond to each recipient and announced by Carlton Ulmer, Redmond COO. Mrs. Julie Baumgardner, Executive Director of First Things First in Chattanooga, Tennessee, spoke at the ceremony, congratulating the employees on their accomplishment and encouraging them to continue living a life serving others. The local band, Pollard Greens, entertained the audience for the evening.
Waltz says, The dedication of these employees is what makes Redmond such a special place. Their loyalty and investment in the hospital is truly something to be treasured and honored. That is why we love having this event each year.
